Xerox Corp. said Tuesday Russell Peacock will take over as president of Xerox Office Group to replace Tim Williams, who retires in April.
Williams has held the position since Feb. 2004.
Peacock began working for Xerox (nyse: XRX - news - people ) in London in 1982 as a field sales representative. His latest post with the company was as managing director of Xerox United Kingdom.
Xerox Office Group constituted $7.6 billion of Xerox's 2006 revenue. The division engineers, markets and manufactures Xerox products like printers and copiers for businesses.
Shares of Xerox were down 12 cents to $17.16 during midday trading Tuesday on the New York Stock Exchange.
