ARLINGTON, Texas, March 16, 2016 – Global Imaging Systems (GIS), a Xerox Company, has acquired Imagetek Office Systems, a full service document solutions and services provider based in Arlington, Texas. The company, which serves the Dallas/Fort Worth area, specializes in providing customized solutions for small and medium-sized business, as well as enterprise environments. Imagetek Office Systems will offer a full range of Xerox multifunction printers (MFPs). "Growing our network of locally based companies remains an important part of our strategy to provide the highest quality products and services to our customers,” said Michael Pietrunti, senior vice president, Acquisitions, Corporate Services and Marketing, GIS. "Adding Imagetek Office Systems to our portfolio will help bolster the Xerox presence in a very large metropolitan market with a lot of growth potential.” With more than 30 years of management success in the document technology industry, Nina Knight will continue to serve as president of Imagetek Office Systems. "Our new partnership with GIS and Xerox expands the portfolio of technology solutions and services to help our customers work better and succeed,” said Knight. "We will continue to operate with a passion for providing high levels of outstanding and responsive service, satisfying our customers’ technology needs.” Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
