Heard a rumor that Xerox has an unofficial yield for its fuser kits that provides double the stated yield. Does anyone know about this or have info they can share?

When I was working for a Xerox dealer Xerox was supplying fusers that were made in mexico and they were having over 75% failure especially for the c8070. Xerox really pushes for the techs tp put in used parts as a first option. The techs would get in fusers and drums that would have written on them 50% left. 65% left....and so on.
Xerox....the king of nearly new products? And since they get so many machines returned the techs are given bonuses to use used parts. Many times this increases the amount of time it takes to fix a machine. Tech orders part/assembly knowing that he really just needs a motor or sensor off of it and to get it in and the motor or sensor is missing or that the assembly has been dropped that it cannot be used so they have to order another one...and probably a used one as they had to get approval to order new if a used one was available!!
