This expense combined with the time involved with a manual accounts payable process prompted TLC Vision to engage Xerox DocuShare to automate its accounts payable workflow.

DocuShare, Xerox's enterprise content management platform, helped address challenges presented by TLC's paper-based accounts payable process, including the delay caused by each of the 62 offices across North America sending invoices through the postal system to a central corporate office for review and payment. Employees at each of the offices now scan invoices, and through the new automated workflow in DocuShare, the digitized documents are routed to shared and secure folders for approval.
