Thursday, November 10, 2011: Xerox India, a part of Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) participated in PAMEX 2011 to showcase its technological strengths through a wide range of revenue-generating applications, digital presses and solutions. Among the key attractions at the Xerox booth this time were innovative application zones on photo applications & 3UP A4 applications enabled by the recently launched Xerox iGen4 EXP with the 14.33” x 26” print size capability!
Speaking on Xerox’s participation at PAMEX 2011, Mr. Pankaj Kalra, Head, Graphic Communications Business, Xerox India said, “Xerox’s participation in PAMEX 2011 is an effort to deliver on our theme for this year – Ready for Real Business Live!, with which we will look at providing real solutions to real business challenges of our valued customers. The greatest attraction at the Xerox booth was the DocuColor 8080 Digital Press & pioneering applications of Xerox’s flagship product iGen4; one of the most productive and high end quality digital presses in the printing industry that enables digital printers to grow their business significantly with profitable applications. Among the key attractions were print applications enabled by the iGen4 EXP with the 14.33” x 26” sheet size. In addition, Xerox also announced the successful installations of over 150 units of the recently launched Xerox 550 presses in India.

Xerox DocuColor 8080 press: Prints with a pleasing offset like matt finish that looks great on every page, Auto duplexing at rated speed of 80 ppm from all trays, for all weights – print simple jobs on common stocks or complex jobs on heavyweight stocks, quickly and reliably. Applications include full colour print on demand, direct mail applications, including postcards, booklets, and catalogues, personalised marketing materials, photo printing.
Xerox 550 press: A true multifunction product – print, copy, fax and scan, including scan to PC, USB or email with enhanced productivity at 50 ppm color/65 ppm black in copy mode; 50 ppm color/ 80 ppm black in network scanning mode, benchmark image quality with 2400 x 2400 dpi resolution and EA low melt toner for a smooth, offset-like finish.
Xerox 4112 press: Xerox 4112 is suitable for professionally finished publishing applications like books on demand, equipment & training manuals, Booklets etc and also suitable for small run transactional/promotional printing needs on demand.
Xerox Wide format Color 7142 printer: Combines ease of use with high resolution inkjet technology engineered to reduce TCO. Delivers a crisp 360 dpi A1-size print in just 44 seconds for check prints. Using low cost media – a real time and cost saver for engineering groups.
Xerox Phaser 7500 printer: Desktop printer Prints at a speed of upto 35 ppm and upto sheet size of 1200 mm

At the Xerox booth, Xerox showcased a variety of Photo books & wedding albums applications for end consumers as well as professional photographers. These solutions are aimed at enabling Indian photo-lab printers to capture the photo publishing opportunity .
