We have (off and on in the low end equipment area) been using Wireless Bridges that are typically used for game consoles like PS3 or Xbox 360. Linksys makes some very reliable products like the WET54G (Only WEP for security)and the WET610N (dual band 802.11N w/ WEP & WPA2). Configure the box to the wireless router or AP, configure your printer/mfp to DHCP or static, plug it in and your done. We will also 'hide' the box by mounting it to the back of the printer/mfp. I also recommend removing any label or reference to it being for gaming. It works great. Wish I could say the same for the 3050N!
