Gerber Technology, which manufactures design-print-cut systems for signs and graphics, has hired Scott Schinlever as president and chief operating officer (COO) for its automation solutions business.
Schinlever was previously vice-president (VP) of marketing for wide-format printer manufacturer Vutek from 2001 until 2005, when it was acquired by Electronics For Imaging (EFI). He took on additional management responsibilities with EFI, rising to senior VP (SVP) and general manager (GM) of its inkjet business.
