Webiplex Releases DocuPeak Connector for Seamless Integration with Sharp OSA-Enabled MFPs
DocuPeak OSA Connector brings business processes directly to the panel of Sharp OSA-Enabled MFPs.

Webiplex, a premier provider of cloud-based and on-premise electronic document management solutions, today announced the release of the DocuPeak Connector for Sharp OSA-enabled MFPs. The DocuPeak Connector allows for the scanning and indexing of documents right from the Sharp OSA-enabled MFP panel, and sent directly to a DocuPeak application portal. Both ad-hoc folder browsing as well as predefined workflows can be created as options on the MFP panel using either cloud-based (i.e. SaaS) or on-premise DocuPeak as the destination repository.

The DocuPeak Connector was developed with Sharp OSA v3 technology and brings the power of DocuPeak business processes to the MFP panel. With the connector, any supported MFP can act as the starting point of a business process by allowing scanned documents to be fully indexed on the MFP panel itself. In addition, administrators can setup custom, one-button-click business processes to pre-fill out common indexing parameters. The user interface was designed to look and function identically to DocuPeak application Portals for consistency and ease of use for external users.

The DocuPeak connector for Sharp OSA-enabled MFPs is fully customizable by a system administrator. Fields and data displayed on the MFP screen is customized based on user role and data element based security and visibility. Users must enter their user name and password for the DocuPeak portal before any of the indexing data is displayed on the screen. With the fully customizable user interfaces and views we tailor our solution to the user, rather than the user having to adapt to the system.
