Malvern, PA, February 16, 2016 - Ricoh Americas Corporation today announced that VISOgraphic Inc., an Illinois-based commercial and digital print provider, has further expanded its move into the digital print space by adding RICOH Pro C9110 platforms to its operation. Traditionally a lithographics-based facility, VISOgraphic ventured into the digital print industry more than five years ago and has a long history of utilizing Ricoh’s offerings to help meet the needs of their end customers.

“From the beginning, Ricoh has exceeded our expectations. In fact, we are so pleased with the quality of their products that I now recommend them to my industry peers,” said Bob Dahlke Jr., Principal of VISOgraphic. “The Ricoh team really listens to our needs and offers a level of service that goes beyond just maintenance calls. Added to this level of trust, I knew immediately that the RICOH Pro C9110 could be a game changer thanks to its high volume production, color capabilities and versatility. I am looking forward to hearing more positive response from our customers to this latest addition, and to our continued partnership with Ricoh.”

VISOgraphic has been in business since 1946 providing quality graphic design and printing to Chicago area businesses, with a specific focus on direct mail projects. A full art studio has allowed them to provide personalized artwork and photography in addition to layout and design. In the last seven years, the company began utilizing digital printers to complement their lithographic print business and expand their offerings. VISOgraphic’s customers are open to either platform, as long as the work is produced in a timely fashion, delivers high quality results and remains cost effective. Since installing the RICOH Pro C9110, the company can now run longer duty cycle jobs on heavier stocks in a shorter amount of time with absolutely no compromise in quality.

With speeds of up to 130 pages per minute (ppm) and the ability to print on media up to 400 gsm, the RICOH Pro C9110 delivers high-quality output, increased productivity and reliability at prices much lower than what is available today. In a market previously limited to more expensive offerings, the RICOH Pro C9110 enables companies like VISOgraphic to transition jobs to a digital press without compromising quality and actually improving turnaround times.

“Our relationship with VISOgraphic is a perfect example of how Ricoh helps companies transition smoothly into digital with zero disruption to their customers,” said John Fulena, Vice President, Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh Americas Corporation. “As the second U.S. installation of the RICOH Pro C9110, in VISOgraphic we saw a way to blend old and new printing practices with no interruption to their existing workflow. As they continue to build-out their digital portfolio, we’re confident our ongoing collaboration will result in exceeding customers’ expectations, improving efficiencies, decreasing costs and extending their market reach.”
