Re: VCGL Format...HELP!!!

For the 470w, I have come across a client who needs to use the VCGL format which is a Xerox based format for drawings. Has anyone encountered this before or even better yet, solved how to print this format?!?

Any help would be appreciated. I have been working with Ricoh and their solution is very costly and not 100% certain it can work.

Thanks for your help on this...Kim and I work together. Unfortunately, we can't get a solution that doesn't involve a costly solution from Ricoh. Anyone know of converters that would convert the VCGL to a HPGL format?

THE FORMAT IS VERSATEC COLOR GRAPHICS LANGUAGE.
IT IS A VERSATEC COLOR PLOTTER FORMAT.
I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CONVERT IT, BUT AM WORKING ON A WAY. STAY TUNED.

Well,
This is not a good situation. The only way to convert definitely would be with an expensive third party solution. One gentlemen who has been in the engineering copier business for a long time told me he would walk away from this. Wish I could help more.

I wish I could...but there is alot riding on this. Ricoh is working on it, and if they can do it, it would be worth it. The biggest problem is that they would want to see it in action before they bought...so I was hoping for a decent solution that wouldn't involve cost.

Are you still trying to find a converter for it John?
