URM Technologies Inc., a Valencia document management systems company, has acquired Digital Image Systems in Commerce, which sells and repairs copiers and other document imaging equipment. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Digital Image Systems will now operate under the name URM Technologies. It will join the buyer in managing document software, print services and offsite document storage for clients.
URM Chief Operating Officer William Sampson said the company is proud to bring Document Image Systems and its high-profile client portfolio under its wing.
“With advanced copier and service capabilities tailored to legal professionals, the health care industry, the education community and municipalities, Document Image Systems has terrific strength in areas that greatly complement URM's growth strategy,” Sampson said in a statement.
URM Technologies’ headquarters is located at 28470 Witherspoon Parkway.
