Sorry Guys, Yes I have a launch and a manual. But this is also an option on like the 1035/1045. I just never realized it until now, because we have a customer who would like to restrict the number of copies certain people use.

It didn't work., I'll figure out something else. Didn't know that the "10" series did that. I'm going to figure out how to do it. However, if someone else knows how to do it now, by all means, post that info.

I have not seen a way on the 10 series to set a certain number of copies that can be made and have it lock the user out. I don't have the info yet on the 1224/32. We will be launching the product next week I think.

We have a 1224 and 1232 in our shop that are being set up and I will look at this as soon as they are connected and let you know!

We launched two weeks ago. I played with the User Tools last night in our showroom and there doesn't appear to be a way to identify the number of copies by user code. There are three modes of color copying, full, two-color & one-color. Each or all may be locked out by a user code which in itself may be tracked and of course the control comes from a culture that mandates no more than your 150 pages per month. You can tweak the conversation with users however you want. It also appears you can control color prints as well with user codes. I am checking into any service level adjustments that can be made. Sold one last week on a one call close, Great system. Looks like it might be a system that pushes our W-2 up this year... Good Selling!

I believe it can be done through SNM Admin, of course it has to be the on the S/P models.

Just spent some time in SNM Admin and couldn't find any place to quantify copies or prints by user code. One of our system's engineers is coming back into the office this afternoon to take a quick look. He feels that he has been able to specify quantity on b&w in the past. Will let you know.
