Ramsey, NJ, Nov. 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) is pleased to announce that our Accuriojet KM-1 UV Inkjet press continues to transform small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) by expanding their opportunities to break into new markets, offer new products, and increase profits.
Letter Concepts, located in Berlin, Connecticut, has been servicing the print communications needs of nearly 50 of the 195 Catholic Dioceses in the United States since 1989. More than a direct mail house, Letter Concepts provides their clients a total package of services including: data base solutions, account management, and print production services, to name just a few.
In June, the decision was made to invest in Konica Minolta’s AccurioJet KM-1 UV Inkjet Press. This addition has provided Letter Concepts with the ability to grow their business by offering their diocesan customers four-color, large format print runs, producing more images per sheet due to the large paper size capabilities of the AccurioJet KM-1 press, thereby reducing costs.
“Once we began to look into the AccurioJet KM-1 more thoroughly, we saw the future for diversification in the Direct Mail industry, mainly through postcards & self-mailers,” said Tom Wilson, president at Letter Concepts. “The AccurioJet KM-1 is going to allow us to expand our clientele into other non-profits including colleges and universities and, hopefully, for profit businesses. We’re also reducing overhead costs by eliminating much of our outsourcing for four-color, large format printing.” Wilson added.
The AcurioJet KM-1 delivers outstanding stability in color and provides a wider and deeper color gamut. The ultraviolet ink produces extremely high-quality print flows, with internal inline Konica Minolta sensing technology, improving the stability and overall quality of print jobs.
“We’re delighted that Letter Concepts recognized the possibilities of the AccurioJet KM-1 press to increase their product offerings, while reducing overhead costs,” said Bill Troxil, senior vice president, strategic business development at Konica Minolta. “The relationship established with Letter Concepts further represents how Konica Minolta strives to be seen as a valued-added business partner by SMBs as they look to expand their businesses and grow the bottom line.”
