I have done quite a bit of research on this but need to get to home base in order to close (4) 240W's. Prospect has seen a KIP demo where they can send a "text" based stamp file such as "Printed by Joe Blow" and follow up with the file to be printed. They can do this from Unix and end up with a watermark on their drawing. Within Plotbase, we can configure the CFG & SSL folders to include stamps (including macros)but I do not believe that a job coming from Unix will have header information such as "User". If this is correct, configuring the CFG folder will not work. Does anyone know about this or have ideas how we can do what KIP does? Appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks for the response. Since I posted the message, I have learned that configuring the Plotbase folders would only work for Windows environments since Unix header info would not carry over to Plotbase. In addition, I found out that using Plotclient Web to send a job would work. A text stamp could be created that includes macros to capture user name. The only drawback is that you have to first create a PLT file out of the Unix CAD application and then insert the file into Plotclient Web. Two step approach but it will work. If you know of anything else, let me know.
