Blozowich said the district has saved $12,000 by renewing its copier lease agreement for three years. It also plans to outsource printer management tasks.
In a separate motion Tuesday, the board approved hiring Progressive Print Management Services Company for a minimum monthly payment of $1,724.05, depending on the number of print impressions made.
Blozowich noted the greatest portion of the approved cost savings resulted from staff retirements and realignments.
