New Print Solution Delivers High-Performance, Flexible Connectivity Options

IRVINE, Calif., (July 8, 2003) – Toshiba America Business Solutions (TABS) today announced the introduction of the Toshiba e-STUDIO190P monochrome, digital, laser printer. Designed for personal and business users, and small workgroups with low volume, dedicated printing requirements, the e-STUDIO190P is the latest addition to Toshiba’s 2003 workgroup printer lineup. Boasting a powerful 200 MHZ processor that delivers a first-copy-out-time (FCOT) of only 10 seconds and prints speeds of a brisk 20 pages-per-minute (PPM), the e-STUDIO190P complements Toshiba’s cadre of e-STUDIO workgroup printers, offering an affordable, high-performance, quality print solution with one of the smallest footprints in its class.

Versatile Standard and Optional Features
The e-STUDIO190P features 600 x 600 dpi print resolution and 1,200 dpi image quality to provide clear, sharp text and a professional, finished look to all business documents. In addition, the e-STUDIO190P comes with a standard 3,000-page yield starter cartridge and offers 6,000-page yield replacement cartridges to reduce the need for continuous supply replacement.
Featuring a robust duty cycle of 15,000 pages-per-month, the e-STUDIO190P comes standard with 16 MB of RAM and can be upgraded to 144 MB of RAM for use with more graphics intensive projects and business applications. In addition, SDRAM and Flash memory upgrades are available for faster spooling.
The e-STUDIO190P offers standard PostScriptÔ 3 and PCL 6 emulations, parallel and USB ports, a convenient external 10/100 BaseT network-connectivity option and support for a dynamic range of operating systems including Apple Macintosh 8.6 or later, Windows 9x, NT 4.0, 2000, ME and XP. These features combine to make the e-STUDIO190P a versatile printer that can be tailored to meet a variety of targeted business needs.
Excellent Document Handling Capabilities
The e-STUDIO190P comes standard with letter and legal-sized paper handling and a built-in 150-sheet cassette that can effortlessly accommodate a wide variety of media types including plain paper, envelopes, card stock, transparencies and paper
labels and media weights up to a 90 lb. index. An optional, easy-to-install 250-sheet paper tray provides added convenience and extended paper capacity.
The e-STUDIO190P is available through Toshiba’s nationwide network of dealers for the suggested list price of $ 399 (USD).
