New Entry-Level Fax Solution Creates Affordable Productivity
For Small Office Environments
IRVINE, Calif., (Jan. 16, 2004) – Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) today introduced the Toshiba e-STUDIO™50F, rounding out the company’s fax product line as a productive and affordable entry-level fax solution for personal users and small office work environments. Featuring a SuperG3, 33.6 Kbps modem and 1 MB of memory, the
e-STUDIO50F produces a quick three-second-page transmission speed and a print speed of five pages-per-minute (PPM). The e-STUDIO50F also offers a host of dialing features including 18 one-touch keys, automatic redial and 100-location auto-dialer. Weighing only 16 pounds, the e-STUDIO50F is ideal for smaller workspaces with a compact footprint of 14” by 14.3”.

Standard Multifunction Features
Toshiba’s e-STUDIO50F offers a host of standard multifunction features such as 600 dpi Windows printing, convenience copying and scanning. Equipped to handle letter or legal size paper via its built-in 150-sheet cassette, the e-STUDIO50F comes standard with easy to use document management software that allows for PC faxing, scanning and phonebook management. The new e-STUDIO50F also is shipped with a standard 1,000-page yield starter toner cartridge that can be replaced with either a 3,000 yield or 6,000 yield cartridge, and features a separate drum and toner component system to ensure full drum life is achieved.
The e-STUDIO50F is available through Toshiba’s nationwide network of dealers for the suggested list price of $1,095 (USD).
Rounding out Toshiba’s line of facsimiles are the e-STUDIO120F/125F and the
e-STUDIO80F/85F. Designed for large business workgroups, the e-STUDIO120F/125F offer high volume and high performance with standard fax features, network printing and scanning, walk-up Internet faxing and fax-to-e-mail capabilities, with an MSRP of $2,799/$3,499, respectively. The e-STUDIO80F/85F plain paper faxes were designed for medium volume workgroups, with a fax speed of 12 PPM, an eight PPM laser print speed and an MSRP of $1,349/$1,699, respectively.
