The new forums

     What I am looking for is the "New Posts Since Your Last Visit" search. Does the new site have this function?

I'm not sure, however there is a widget on the right side of the forums page that shows the last ten threads...https://www.p4photel.com/forums.  I will check for you.

When you look at the forums, you'll see a "new" indicator (the icon changes color and the word "new" appears) to the right of any forum - and any topic - that has new content since your last visit.  You can also use the activity stream widget or page to stay on top of recent activity across the community.
