The Importance of Cloud Computing

Having worked in IT for many years I have been fortunate enough to design, implement, and manage a number of technologies but over recent times Azure has become my passion and Cloud computing is a big part of that.  It is continuing to change the way businesses operate and the impact it continues to have on the IT industry is something that cannot be understated.

So, what is Cloud computing?

In simple terms, cloud computing is a way of delivering IT services over the Internet. Instead of having to buy and maintain your own hardware and software, you can rent the resources you need from a cloud provider. This can save you money, give you more flexibility, and make it easier to scale your business as needed.
