When it es to managing its documents, TELEFUNKEN Licht AG, manufacturer of innovative LED technologies for trade and industry, places its trust in a cloud-based document management solution from T-Systems. doculife offers a way of creating, editing, managing and archiving all digital documents in the cloud with full document tracking. It meets all European security, data protection and pliance standards.
The cloud-based document management system was developed by T Systems Multimedia Solutions jointly with its Swiss software partner Document Future. This type of system not only allows panies to benefit from reduced archiving and operating costs, but also simplifies and speeds up work processes. As a result, TELEFUNKEN Licht AG employees can now directly access any documents they need via a web browser on any terminal device with an Internet connection. The cloud solution can be integrated easily into Microsoft Office and Outlook and is intuitive to use.
One of the priorities for TELEFUNKEN Licht AG was the creation of a central information system that would allow internal and external staff to work together in full security. This covers every piece of documentation in international business processes throughout the pany's supply and service chain. The pany plans to use further features offered by the solution in the future.
"TELEFUNKEN Licht AG is a well-established brand whose hallmarks are high quality and the careful use of energy resources. This is exactly what doculife offers: Using the solution means we can speed up our work processes. Our employees can then invest the time saved here in other areas. Additionally, doculife provides consistent protection for our data," explains Martin Hockemeyer, CEO of TELEFUNKEN Licht AG. "Another advantage is that the cloud solution means we don't have to invest in any new IT infrastructure," he adds. "We are keeping pace with the times and perfectly equipped for the future thanks to doculife."
"Today, it is increasingly rare for the employees of a pany to work at headquarters. This makes it all the more important to ensure that they have secure, rapid access to documents, wherever they are," says Dr. Rolf Werner, Director of T-SystemsMMS. "doculife enables businesses to keep on top of the day-to-day stream of forms from customers, business partners and suppliers. After all, the idea, ultimately, is to turn the information they contain into capital."
