ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 26, 2003--T/R SYSTEMS, INC. TRSI, a leader in developing innovative solutions for the management and production of digital documents, and Lanier Worldwide, one of the leading global providers of document management solutions, announced today an expanded strategic alliance that includes a broader product base and more innovative research and development.

"This is an excellent opportunity for T/R Systems and Lanier Worldwide to attract a wider customer base with this now stronger collaboration," said Lanier Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Planning, Yasuhiko Hosoe. "We are building upon an established tradition of providing leading-edge solutions to our customers."

Among the solutions to be offered as part of this new collaboration are Lanier- and T/R Systems-based resources dedicated to the high-volume market, and a new technical support center, based in Atlanta. Implementation of these new solutions is scheduled to begin in 2003. Additionally, T/R Systems and Lanier will continue to collaborate on the innovative MicroPress(R) and Digital StoreFront(TM) products. The MicroPress is a document production server for print-on-demand (POD) customers that bridges the gap between low-volume workgroup printing and high-volume centralized printing. Digital StoreFront is the web site for on demand printers that provides customers the convenience of on-line submission, quotes, proofs, job status and invoices, while decreasing costs with a custom web storefront that automates every step.

"We are very enthusiastic about strengthening our relationship with Lanier," said Michael Kohlsdorf, President and CEO of T/R Systems. "This is truly exciting news as it positions both companies to grow market share."
