A flat-bed printer, the HP Scitex FB700 can print on any media, rigid or flexible, up to 2.5" thick. In addition to regular outdoor applications like window graphics, car wraps, banners and billboards, the HP Scitex FB700 can print on doors, windows, ceiling tiles, table tops and so much more, giving businesses unprecedented access to untapped marketing avenues.
With a six-color process and resolution of 1200x600 dpi for incredibly sharp, vibrant images, the FB700 can also print using white ink. Most known for use in back-lit point-of-purchase displays, white ink printing has other exciting benefits.
According to the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association's SGIA Journal, "[White ink printing] facilitates the use of the print in a day/night mode where it is actively backlit at night but not during daylight hours. This has great appeal to the ecologically sensitive end user by requiring less than half the electricity of standard backlit prints. [The] white-between-color method of printing [also] makes the prints even more interesting by enabling them to be viewed from both sides—doubling the number of potential views in the retail environment."
