Can anyone suggest a printing solution by which to print on weatherproof vinyl labels? A potential client has a special kind of label they must use and are having trouble printing on it with a variety of printers, due to the heat from the fuser. We tried using a GelSprinter with a sample of the label paper, but the ink would not dry on the material. If anyone has encountered a similar situation, I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

Walk away....tried for years printing on this vinyl stock and the only system Ricoh has is the 410DN that can handle it. However, it will void the service warranty and most dealers/branch's will not service when they know they are running this type of stock.

The duplicator will run this stock, but I'm guessing if you are selling this vinyl material they are most likely printing variable data / barcodes. Lexmark dominates this market because of their PCU's and they actually spec out that their units can run this type of stock.
