State of Georgia to ban Lexmark?
Governor Kemp of Georgia signed new SB 346 into law
- Designed to protect “Georgia residents from China intrusion”
- Prohibits companies owned or operated by China from bidding on Georgia state contracts
- “all vendors must certify that they are not owned/operated by People’s Republic of China”
- CTT Research recently reported that Georgia state agencies spend $47,259,946 on Lexmark and Lenovo products
- Other states set to follow suit:
- Idaho
- Arkansas
- Indiana
