I have a Savin 2560 mated to a SR850 that has a problem when stapling. It seems that the stapler is still attached to the copies as the stack feed out belt graps the set to send it out, resulting in a jam. The next set of copies are already there, ready to feed into the stack tray. It doesn't matter which staple position you choose, it will jam every 15 copies or so. I have replaced the belt/brackets/sensors, which seemed to cure the problem for a short time. Ricoh hotline was of no help. Anyone have any ideas?

Have seen this or something similair I think.

Check the plate near the anti static brush just as the paper enters the staple tray. The centre of this guide should be below the height of the rollers.

Lift the black guide just before the staple tray where the anti static rollers are and you should see the metal guide which could be bent.

You didn't say whether the finisher was new, mine was and was caused during production.
This 2560/SR850 have been out in the field now for approximately a year and a half. I will check the guide you mentioned next time I visit the customer, Thanks!
