Skyline Technology Solutions, a full-service IT company that supports the federal, state and local government, education, public safety, transportation and commercial sectors, signed two leases with St. John Properties Inc. totaling nearly 45,000 square feet of space at Aviation Business Park.

The group renewed its 28,753-square-foot office lease at 6956 Aviation Blvd., where it maintains its corporate headquarters, and signed a new 16,001-square-foot flex/R&D lease within the same business park at 6958 Aviation Blvd.

Mike Roden of CBRE represented the client and Lacey Johansson of St. John Properties represented the landlord in both transactions.

Early last year, St. John Properties acquired Aviation Business Park, a three-building portfolio containing more than 120,000 square feet of single-story office space. The company proceeded to reconfigure 6958 Aviation Blvd. into a flex/R&D building with the installation of drive-in doors and the expansion of loading areas to accommodate flex uses.

Skyline Technology Solutions specializes in managed IT solutions, cybersecurity, public safety data and video interoperability, fiber design and build, as well as physical security and access control services.

The company, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, works with numerous state departments of transportation nationwide, including Maryland, to develop and manage highway video streaming systems. Skyline is currently supporting 17 states through its Claris Video Sharing platform.

Aviation Business Park is located adjacent to Interstate 97 and is approximately 10 minutes from Interstate 95, MD Route 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway), and Interstate 695 (Baltimore Beltway). The business community is also less than 10 miles from Baltimore, less than 15 miles from Columbia, and approximately 20 miles from Annapolis.
