Foxconn of Taiwan, owner of Sharp, was notified by the Chinese government that its subsidiaries in China are target of a tax audit

Audit was “unexpected” and “unusual” according to Reuters News Service
Foxconn stated that it would “actively cooperate with the relevant units on the related work and operations”
