Sharp Introduces Sharpdesk 3.0 Document Management Software And Doc2NET Electronic Filing Solution
Mahwah, NJ— Sharp Electronics Corp. has unveiled a pair of new software solutions designed to make it simple for users to organize, edit, combine, retrieve and secure scanned files. The software includes Sharpdesk 3.0, a highly functional desktop document management solution, and Doc2NET, an intuitive electronic filing offering. Both of these solutions complement Sharp's Network Scanning/ImageSEND capability.
Scanning documents makes document transmission and management much simpler. Doc2NET gives users the ability to simultaneously retrieve and view documents with structured indexing and full text searches, while offering output capabilities via fax, email and print. Doc2NET complements Sharp's Imager and FO-DC scanning solutions by providing a common document repository for a workgroup or small business. Unlike Sharpdesk, Doc2NET does not allow users to edit documents, thereby helping preserve document integrity -- an important feature in any electronic filing application.
