The SeriPrinter model 25VH can be connected to the same range of print engines as the Model 25. Compatibility Table

The Model 25VH adds the cabability to insert Variable data on line. For example as 3 part invoice books are being printed the variable data head in the Model 25VH can add the numbering on line. Alternatly a form letter can be printed and individually addressed to each recipient. Or envelopes can be individually address while a fixed logo could be simultaneusly printed.

The SeriPrint Drum cabinet enhances productivity by neatly holding the colour cylinders (drums) used by the print engine

The convienent height and slide rails make it easy to insert and remove drums from the cabinet. The cabinet has large wheels and sturdy handles making it easy to move out of the way for storage when the system is not in use.

This seems very interesting has anyone seen one actually being used.

In addition, when combined with the TC11 and the HQ9000 - what configuration is needed?

To produce 4 color do you have to make 2 passes through the TC11 after ripping each master. Our DSM in giving no support and the collateral material is very unclear?

For the HQ9000, to print is PS3 required? sorry for the overload on questions, I know if there ever is a ? where to turn.

THANK YOU - 5050
You really have to have two seri's for a dual installation like that. One for the HQ9000, one for the TCII. I've seen the VDP - pretty slick. We've had issues with Seri in general, and it's like pulling teeth to get tech support. Seems to work alright in higher volume environments.
You're right on the 4 color run - two time through the TCII, but if you plan to do process color, good luck. With a friction fed system, and masters that slowly stretch over a long run, it's nigh on impossible to retain the registration required to output anything close to acceptable in most cases.
HQ9000 comes with a RIP embedded - RPCS printing. It's very good, but you have much more control (like adjusting the LPI) with the PS3 option.
