Seine Technology, together with its Pantum printers and G&G consumables will continue to lead innovation in the printer consumables industry of Zhuhai, China.

Recently, Zhuhai city turned its eyes to the international market and sped up its establishment of modern industry framework. A set of enterprises in Zhuhai have been getting stronger on self-innovation and have started to enter the international market. “Zhuhai Enterprises heading to the world” is a serial report in full angle to analyze the current status and development of the industry cluster in Zhuhai.

“There is always a limit for being a compatibles and parts manufacturer because of excessive amount of patents, so we decided to upgrade our business to the top of the production chain,” said Jianzhou Zhang, Vice President and Secretary General of Seine Technology.

Mr. Jackson Wang, CEO of the Seine Group and General Manager of Pantum International Limited: “The completion of Seine High-Tech Industry Park signifies our industry upgrade, enlarged production scale and the improved innovation, sales management, marketing, customer and logistics services. This is also a reflection of the mutual development between us and the customers, and also a new start point for us to reach another achievement.”
Mr. Yan Wei, Senior Vice President of Seine Group and General Manager of Ninestar Image Tech Limited: “’High-quality, Technology, One-stop Solution’ is the commitment and value lying in our customer service. Apart from the existing full production chain advantages, we are also planning the establishment of 2 recycling factories in the US and Malaysia. I believe as we gradually move to our new production facility, we will keep upgrading to be a multinational group and pioneering the industry.”
Mrs. Jackie Zhang, Vice President of Ninestar Image Tech Limited: “Our inkjet, toner and ribbon businesses have been leading the industry. The launch of Pantum printer further manifests our strength in R&D and innovation ability. I believe the customer will be more confident in the cooperation with us since we have been growing so fast and are moving to the new and 4 times larger production facility.”
In the year 2006, Seine Technology made its first move by establishing the largest patent platform in the industry to back up its printer R&D. At the same time, R&D teams were also established in the US, Japan, Shanghai, Beijing and Zhuhai. By cooperating with Dalian University of Technology, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University and others, Seine Technology was able to establish a universal technology platform, strong research in core technology for printers as well as industry upgrades.
In the year 2010, Seine Technology launched its first generation mono laser printer. In the year 2011, Seine Technology launched its first line of MFPs and in 2012, Seine’s new high speed duplex was continuously launched in the market. It was also in 2012 that the BLI Buyers Lab in the USA, the imaging industry's leading independent authority and provider of competitive intelligence, testing and reviews on multifunction (MFP), copier, printer, scanner and software solutions and products, performed a test on a set of printers and finally issued a report stated that the “Pantum P2000 series laser printer is the best A4 mono laser printer” in the world, and officially recommended Pantum to its customers as “Printer of the Year” and “Best Printer Recommended”. Since then, Pantum laser printer has successfully entered over 20 countries, including some core markets such as Russia, the USA, Japan and India. In the Israel market, Pantum has now captured the second largest market share, and this is just the second year after Israel’s launch event in 2012.
By analyzing the current business model of the world’s printer industry, Seine is planning to enlarge its production scale to 1.5 million sets of laser printers per year in 5 years, and the annual output value to exceed 10 billion RMB. It is also expected that, before year 2020, the yearly production scale will increase to 3 million sets and the annual output value will reach 20 billion. The new High-tech industry park located in Nanping’s industry center is in construction, and is expected to be in use in August 2013. The industry park is 450 thousand square meters large and able to have over 20 thousand employees working in it. Seine Technology, together with its Pantum printers and G&G consumables will build new beginnings in Zhuhai and later, the rest of the world.
