ok, pretty miffed as to why we dont have this Ricoh product in the US. Ricoh in JP is offering the CW1200 color wide format printer, copier and scanner (max 24x16), why are they not bringing this to market in the US??
Given how Ricoh priced the CW2200 wide format I figure the street price would likely be $9,000 or more for the 24" version. Doubt many people would be buying a $9,000 24" system.
Anyone have issues loading paper in the CW2200? Paper goes thru the loadcycle and rewinds back out of the machine before it is suppose to cut. But not all the time. Very frustrating.,
I just had a customer complain about this, he said if you dont follow the load instructions EXACTLY as the machine tells you, it's very tough. So is any customer with one of these units happy, we just had to replace a whole machine, not even Ricoh could fix it!
The only service calls I have had on the MPCW2200's has been for loading paper. The issue people have is the edge feeding into the printer needs to be straight and square otherwise it will fail to load. The other issue that causes this is the spools being too tight to the sides of the roll of paper.
I think this is a good machine. I would rather it had a drawer and catch trays like the black and white machines have but I am sure that would be more money and it seems like all the colors machines are like this.
