The Mexico School Board of Directors voted Tuesday to award a contract for supplying 11 copiers for the district to GFI Digital in Columbia. The motion to award the contract was made by Vice President Beverly Borgeson and seconded by Dustin Pascoe. The measure passed with 5 votes in favor and two against.
The lease price of the equipment, manufactured by Sharp Electronics, will cost the district $1,067.05 per month, the lowest rental price of the bids that were submitted. The copiers will replace the 11 Konica Minolta copiers supplied by the school’s current service provider, DataComm, and are expected to be delivered to the schools in the next couple of weeks. read more here
