I have a customer who has a Savin C3535. They were scanning to folder on their 2008 Standard Edition server. They did an update and after restarting the server can no longer scan. Has anyone ran into this?

Also, and this may be part of the reason, they cannot browse the network from the MFP even though the DNS and Gateway are correct.

Any ideas?

Check the firewall settings on the 2008 Server.
Sometimes an update will reset them. If the 2008 Server sits on their LAN with a hardware firewall between it and the internet, then you could turn OFF the firewall as a test and see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't then its not the firewall, and if it does you could open up the SMB ports and test scanning to folder again.
