I have a customer who we have set up scan to email for. For some reason, I can scan to locations outside of the office, but not internally.
Any ideas?

Probably. I'm not very knowledgeable about their network and even less about firewalls in general.
My question is if it is an internal firewall, wouldn't it also prevent email from going outside of their LAN also?

Enter the 2 DNS server IP address into the MFP.
Could it be that someone else manages their e-mail service. They may have a filter that will excludes certain e-mails (i.e. no subject, ect.) . This could also be the case with an internal e-mail. If you can send outside the company it should work. I think IT should be able to provide the rest.
