Sawyer County Public Health Facebook page hacked

The Sawyer County Record reports that the Facebook page for Sawyer County Health was hacked and it currently offline.

A spokesperon for Sawyer County Public Health told the Sawyer County record that the Facebook page was hacked on Friday, October 16.

This is in addition to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services suspending the reporting of new COVID-19 totals until early next week while their computer system undergoes an upgrade.

The reporting outage is expected to last until Tuesday, one day after the system goes live with the new updates.
