Samsung Offering New Laser MFP
Samsung has introduced the new SCX-5315F multifunction product(MFP). With its digital copying, faxing, laser printing and full-color scanning capabilities at up to 16 pages-per-minute (ppm), this flatbed laser MFP is intended for small businesses and small- to mid-sized workgroups that require a total office solution.
"As the second generation and replacement to the award-winning SCX-5312F model introduced last year, the SCX-5315F is an affordable alternative to purchasing and managing multiple machines," said Jonathan Fischer, national sales manager, BTA Group. "We are excited to add this versatile product to our current lineup that increases efficiency, saves valuable time and allows users to focus on their business, not the equipment."
The SCX-5315F is easy to use either as a walk-up fax and copy device or from the desktop as a printer and scanner. In addition to featuring a 30-sheet automatic document feeder, it offers a platen design that allows for various types and sizes of documents including oversized blueprints and books to be copied, faxed and scanned. A 550-sheet paper cassette is also included. Other features include: color fax transmission at up to 600 dpi; 25 to 400 percent reduction and enlargement; first page print time of 13 seconds; color CCD scanning.
