Make Every Minute Matter



It’s amazing how quickly time can get away from us. But adopting time management practices can add hours to your day, hours which you can spend cultivating customer relationships and uncovering sales opportunities. Ways to get more out your day include:
Develop an awareness of time: Knowing how you are using and wasting it can help you build the habit of using it wisely.

Evaluate your plans: When you finish one activity and move to the next, ask yourself “what would be the most goal-directed, highest-payoff use of my time right this minute?”
Manage your incoming communications: When you run through your email, voicemail and other communications make a decision about how to react to it and move on. And for each communication decide whether to…toss it…refer it…act on it…or file it.
Choose wisely: Spend more time on activities that achieve your goals. Likewise, identify time-wasting activities and eliminate them.
