ROCKFORD (RKD) -- RK Dixon, a leading provider of copiers, printers, networks, managed print services and pure drinking water systems, is inviting non-profits in eastern Iowa, northwest Illinois and southern Wisconsin to enter its 6th annual Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest.
RK Dixon is partnering with WIFR-TV for this year’s Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest.
For the first time since its inception, the contest is being offered to non-profits in all RK Dixon locations simultaneously – a three-state area that encompasses more than 80 counties.
“In its five years of existence, we have donated more than $210,000 to help non-profits better serve their communities,” said Bryan Dixon, president of RK Dixon. “The impact has been dramatic. It has created positive change that has deeply inspired us and the thousands of people who participated. That’s why we’ve decided to make this year’s contest bigger than ever.”
The contest provides non-profit organizations in more than 80 counties across eastern Iowa, northwest Illinois and southern Wisconsin the opportunity to win an office equipment makeover valued at up to $15,000. The first runner-up will receive a Canon multi-function printer selected by RK Dixon valued at up to $10,000. The two remaining winners will receive a Canon multi-function printer selected by RK Dixon valued at up to $5,000. In addition, RK Dixon will award eight printers each valued at up to $1,000.
“We understand that it’s difficult for many non-profit organizations to find the money to purchase, install and manage office equipment,” said Dixon. “This is our way of acknowledging and thanking non-profits for the hard work they do in providing charitable services to our communities.”
The makeover may include, but is not limited to: a black and white copier, a color copier, a printer, multifunction systems, IT services and water purification units.
Last year’s Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest, held in the Quad Cities, awarded the Putnam Museum and IMAX Theatre a $20,000 office technology makeover.
