RISO, Inc., a leader in digital printing technology, today announced that it has
entered into an exclusive partnership with Kirk-Rudy to market a high-speed,
full-color inline MICR check printing solution called MICR-Mate®. MICR-Mate
works specifically with RISO`s inkjet printers to produce up to 120 checks per
minute. Checks are printed in monochrome or color and with MICR (Magnetic Ink
Character Recognition) images. The MICR-Mate inkjet solution simplifies
short-run check printing with unprecedented cost efficiency and full ANSI
compliance. The optional Verification Module enables users to identify and
verify continuity with smaller and more manageable parts, ensuring data
integrity.

The second product that RISO is launching with Kirk-Rudy is a new high-speed
inline envelope feeder called the KR324-R. This is a heavy-duty, high-capacity,
continuous feeding shuttle system designed specifically to feed various sizes of
envelopes and card stocks into the RISO high-speed color printer. The KR324-R
runs continuously due to its "top-load, bottom-feed" architecture, so it is
capable of printing more than 100,000 envelopes without interruption. SRP is
$6,324.

MICR-Mate will be marketed exclusively in North America by RISO, Inc. and
serviced by the Kirk-Rudy dealer network. MICR-Mate`s SRP is $41,250, plus
$23,625 for the full-page verification system option. The RISO HC5500 is priced
at $39,995. All these products will be demonstrated at Print `09, to be held in
Chicago on September 11-16. The Kirk-Rudy products will be connected inline to
the RISO HC5500 inkjet printer at RISO`s booth #974.

"There really is no other comparable high-speed cut-sheet MICR inkjet solution
currently available and these products, combined with RISO`s color inkjet
printers, fills an under-served need in the production market," said David
Murphy, Vice President of Marketing for RISO, Inc.

RISO`s newly launched ComColor® high-speed inkjet printers will be demonstrated
at RISO`s booth #1263, along with the MZ990 150-ppm two-color digital
duplicator. ComColor inkjet printers produce up to 150 color pages per minute
(ppm) for about half of the operating costs of comparable toner-based production
printers. Capable of producing up to 500,000 pages per month, applications
include variable data envelopes, transactional documents, direct mail, and more.

In addition to these new product introductions at Print '09, RISO will host a
cocktail reception at its Technology Center on Saturday, September 12th from
5:00 -7:00pm. Located in the heart of downtown Chicago, this facility allows
conference attendees to experience the company`s ComColor printers, along with a
full suite of digital printing solutions, in an actual office environment.
