RISO Introduces Finisher and RIP Options for HC5000
RISO has introduced two options for its HC5000 Full Color ComColor Printer - an inline finisher unit and a Level 3 Postscript RIP.
DANVERS, MA, Nov. 4, 2005 – RISO, Inc., a worldwide leader in digital printing technology, has introduced two options for its HC5000 Full Color ComColor Printer.
The company has unveiled a new finisher unit, which works inline with the printer, adds an array of new capabilities, including offset stacking, stapling, hole punching and booklet making functions. The suggested retail price for the HC5000 finisher, including the connection kit, is $17,995.
Second RIP Option
In addition, RISO announced the availability of a second RIP option for the HC5000. The unit comes equipped with an Adobe® PostScript® Level 3™ controller, a 40GB hard drive, 128 MB memory, and a powerful 1.2 GHz Intel® Celeron® Processor that insures that jobs are handled efficiently and effectively. Customers needing more robust processing power or finishing capabilities can opt for the new PS7R9000 RIP that includes an Adobe PostScript Level 3 controller, a 160 GB hard drive, 1024 MB memory, and a 3.4 GHz Intel Pentium® 4 Processor. Suggested retail price for the new RIP is $7,995.
