PRLog (Press Release) - Oct 05, 2012 -
DANVERS, MA, Oct. 2, 2012 — RISO, Inc. will be showcasing the revolutionary RISO ComColor® high-speed, full-color inkjet printers, along with various new production-enhancing accessories and applications at Graph Expo 2012. This event will be held at McCormick Place South in Chicago, October 7-10.
RISO booth visitors will also be introduced to two new production-enhancing accessories, which will debut at the event.
“Graph Expo attendees will be the first to preview the RISO Native IPDS Controller. We are now capable of printing directly from AFP to bitmap using IPDS protocol. This enables AFP print data originally intended for mainframe printers to be sent directly to ComColor printers. While we have been very successful in high-volume print production environments, one limitation we have faced is the ability to natively integrate with AFP/IPDS workflow. This new controller, connected to the ComColor printer, allows us to introduce a high-speed, full-color, cut-sheet native IPDS solution. We plan to make this product available in early Spring 2013,” Suzanne Farley, manager, marketing for RISO, Inc. said.
In addition to the new RISO Native IPDS Controller, RISO will launch a new Thompson Continuous Feeder, the T-100DW. This top-load, bottom-feed system supports a wide range of stock sizes, such as 8.5” x 11” paper and 9” X 12”
envelopes.
RISO Booth 1653 will also feature a RISO Pressure Seal System. This system is comprised of Objectif Lune Software (for data-driven design), pressure seal forms (which were specially created for ComColor by NJBF) and RISO’s very own ComColor printer. This station will feature two InfoSeal off-line pressure seal units, bringing RISO’s demonstrations of their unique printing capabilities full-circle.
RISO Booth 1653 will showcase six different stations, which will include a full range of products, as well as unique applications and accessories.
