Subject: Ricoh Identification Number (Ricoh ID) for Sales Support
Ricoh Corporation uses Personal Identification (Ricoh ID) numbers as a method of logging
support interactions for Sales Representatives, Field Technicians, and System Engineers. Your
Ricoh ID is Ricoh’s method of identifying individuals who have the knowledge, tools and skills to
competently support Ricoh product(s). In addition to receiving a Ricoh ID at the completion of a Ricoh training program, a Ricoh ID can be obtained by submitting proof of an industry certification (Microsoft, Novell, CompTIA, etc.).
Your Ricoh ID is your permanent Personal Identification Number and is associated with your employer’s contact information such as company name and address. It is also linked with your
training records. In the event that you change employers, your Ricoh ID remains the same.
Ricoh will update your employer information on your profile upon notification. The respective
Sales Support Branch contact name is also referenced as a support point in case a technicalissue requires escalation for additional telephone or on-site Ricoh, Savin or Gestetner technicalsupport.
Effective January 1, 2005, your Ricoh ID will be required for all Pre and Post Sales Support
Hotline calls. To obtain your Ricoh ID number, please submit your request to
education.coordinators@ricoh-usa.com. Use the subject Requesting My Ricoh ID, and be sure
to provide your full name, company name and address, and phone number in the body of your
message. An email message containing your Ricoh ID will be sent to you within 24-business
hours.
