Ricoh to focus on the bottom line at drupa 2012

FULL STORY
Drupa is arguably the biggest event on the global print calendar which is why Ricoh will be exhibiting, discussing, and showing off how to grow digital print business opportunities, create new services, attract customers, expand service portfolios, Web-to-print, and workflows.

Alan Austin,
sales and marketing director at Ricoh South Africa.

‘Drupa is the one nobody misses so whether you're a commercial or digital printer running a direct mail business, data centre or corporate print room; if you already have a fully integrated digital production workflow or are starting to grow the digital side of your business: our team of experts will ensure you get the best advice and make the right investment,’ said Alan Austin, sales and marketing director of Ricoh South Africa.

Ricoh will highlight a number of presses, workflow solutions, and services. On display will be its TotalFlow portfolio of output management solutions, its Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition that delivers near offset results, the Pro C751 colour cut-sheet presses, and its InfoPrint 5000 VP full colour, continuous feed platform. The latest addition to the wide-format family, the Ricoh Aficio CW2200SP, is designed for the burgeoning important CAD market.

Also showcased will be Ricoh’s Carbon Balanced Printing Programme, initially a European initiative that will be rolled out globally in time (see the article in our Verdigris Environmental section and also our drupa Newsroom for more details). Alongside that will be the next generation of Ricoh's Business Driver Programme (more about this in the drupa Newsroom, too), an online portal that includes new market intelligence reports, e-learning courses and services for business transformation and print application development, allows members to connect with consultants, Ricoh business specialists, and other users, through blogs and online networking tools.

‘The exhibit will include application zones which are designed to give practical demonstrations on moving into new markets, how to access the latest industry knowledge and expertise, and how to implement new digital workflows,’ said Austin. The zones are marketing, packaging, publishing, transactional, and enterprise and each one will feature customers who will share their experiences.

The show takes place from May 3 to May 16 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Guests who pre-register at: www.ricoh-europe.com/drupa2012 get a personalised experience.

For additional information you can also see Ricoh Europe’s three articles in our Drupa Newsroom which provide additional detail from the pre-drupa media event held recently in Düsseldorf.
