Ricoh support Unicode?

Can anyone tell me if Ricoh MFP's support Unicode? Unicode was a new term to me as of today, and my customer is installing some sort of new database management software from which there is some garbled print. His question to me was the above.

Haven't heard of Unicode (are they confusing it with HP Unicenter)

I had not heard of it either. But I did a search, and came up with this website: http://www.unicode.org/

So it's a real thing. But still don't know if Ricoh's support it.

Apparently Ricoh doesn't know either. They are "looking into it".
