New model that is to take the place of prior small A4 copiers like the 430F.  Kind of an oddball as its way too tall at 25.2" for many of the countertop and desktop spaces where I need to place an A4 MFP.  Similar height to the IM550f.  If its a countertop or desk with a cabinet or shelf above you're SOL.  Street price of $2,500-$3,000 for non-program orders.

I have a lot of Ricoh tabletop MFPs in the field that are end of life and I know that this product will not fit the customer's space in a lot of these placements.

So many of my medical accounts have end of life Ricoh MP201 and MP402 machines on counter tops where there is a cabinet above and I know this new model won't fit.  Had the MP501 and its predecessor fit these spaces I would have sold those into these placements.    When the IM430F machines are no longer available Ricoh won't have a suitable product as a replacement.  I'll probably have to switch brands if they don't come up with another product to fit the need.   Just not a fan of doing mixed brand fleets or switching product lines with customers.  Even though I have HP and Kyocera available to me, 95% of my sales are Ricoh.
