BERTL has announced its 2003 Best of the Best Awards, which recognise outstanding technological innovation, top-tier performance, superior product design and value for money in the digital imaging industry. Ricoh has again been well represented amongst the winner’s ranks, receiving 9 awards – the highest number by any of the vendors who participated. Against a background of over 300-plus product evaluations conducted by BERTL analysts on copiers, network printers, fax, multifunction devices, colour systems, production printers, wide-format printers and digital duplicators, Ricoh managed to snatch 9 of the available 36 product awards, which represents 25% of all awards on offer.
Ricoh was recognised as the leading network laser colour provider for the office, winning ‘Best of the Best’ Awards for 5 out of its 6 new network colour devices released since February 2003. These include two colour laser printers – the desktop CL3000DN and the high speed CL7000; two black & white and colour MFD’s – the Aficio 1224C and 1232C; and the FAX 4410L – a colour scan-to-email fax machine.
