Ricoh has revealed it will launch its direct-to-film (DTF) application for the Pro TF6251 UV flatbed direct-to-film printer to market at March’s Fespa Global Print Expo.

Using a new and purpose-built DTF inkset, the flatbed will likewise feature a new powder shaker: altogether, Ricoh claimed, the printer will represent “the lowest total cost of ownership [TCO] in the market coupled with unprecedented speed”.

Also on display at Fespa for the first time will be Ricoh’s Ri4000 direct-to-garment (DTG) printer for polyester fabrics and the firm’s Ri cotton and cotton-blend 1000X DTG printer....more here
