Ricoh Printers and IPDS | Print4Pay Hotel

I am not sure what IPDS is but I have a customer that needs it and is wanting to buy an AP3200. Does this machine support IPDS? Thank you for any help or info.

IDPS is another of those IBM specific languages. When faced with this in the past we have used an Axis 5470e print controller to connect the system. It works well but you lose some functionality.

The Axis 5470e works well, but the Axis support stinks. Why don't you give Mike DeBenedetto with Ricoh a call at (973) 882-2000 ext. 3173 and see if he can advise you on this?

I understand that Ricoh is going to be launching a software package that will allow our mfp's to do IPDS printing.
