RICOH INTRODUCES THE AFICIO 2035e/2035eSP AND AFICIO 2045e/2045eSP
Enhanced Features Bring More Affordable Output Options
West Caldwell, NJ, March 17, 2004 — Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced the RICOH® Aficio® 2035e/2035eSP, and Aficio 2045e/2045eSP digital imaging systems, which offer network print and scan capabilities. Capitalizing on the success of the feature-rich Aficio 2035/2045, this new series adds state-of-the-art enhancements for a total document solution system.
New Scan Features of the Aficio 2035e/2045e include: Embedded Scan-to-Folder – Scan documents to shared folders on your network without the need for additional software. Allows for easy sharing and storage of documents as large as 2GB. Folders can be password protected for security.
Embedded Scan-to-FTP – Scan documents up to 2GB in size to an FTP site where documents can be accessed remotely. No additional software required.
LDAP Support with SMTP and POP before SMTP Authentication – Search through the company’s email address book when scanning to email. Eliminates the need to program keys at each system and reduces IT maintenance. Plus, authentication provides an added level of security.
New Fax Features of the Aficio 2035e/2045e include: Internet Faxing – Send faxes over the Internet, reducing phone charges. Inbound/Outbound paperless faxing requires no delivery server or optional software.
LAN-Fax – Send faxes from your PC. Can also add a cover sheet with company name and customized message.
Fax Forwarding to MFP’s Hard Disk Drive – Eliminate lost or misplaced faxes by having them stored directly into the Hard Drive. Easily view, print, forward, or delete faxes from your desktop using a standard web browser.
Fax Forwarding to Email – Send all faxes to a designated email address for review and distribution or specify faxes to be emailed to specific individuals.
Receive Fax Transmission Via Email – No more running to the fax machine to verify that your fax was sent properly.
In addition to these enhanced features, the Aficio 2035e/2045e series includes all the features of traditional Multi-Functional Products (MFP’s) in speed, image quality, paper handling and finishing options, all in easy-to-maintain and compact units.
The Aficio 2035e is available at a suggested retail price of $9,150 and the Aficio 2045e is available for $11,700. Additionally, the Aficio 2035eSP is available at a suggested retail price of $11,150 and the Aficio 2045eSP is available at a suggested retail price of $13,700.
