In all of my years from Ricoh, I have never seen this much activity with new products and press releases. Do you all think this is too much?

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, announced today that it has aligned with Print Audit, a leading provider of print tracking and copy auditing solutions, to release Print Director software, which allows users to reduce total cost of ownership and build the most cost-effective document production program possible.

Print Director will enable Ricoh to offer users a powerful tool that can manage printing and copying activity, report charge-backs, and identify the cost of printing across entire organizations. The Print Director Suite consists of three modules, which can be used together, or separately -- Analysis, Reduction, and Recovery. This comprehensive print management solution is critical for clients who want to understand and manage printing/copying costs to reduce Total Cost of Ownership.

"The ability to provide a solution that helps our customers further understand, manage and reduce total cost of ownership is critical for business continuity and we are pleased to offer the Print Director software provided by Print Audit," said Hede Nonaka, senior vice president, Document Services and Solutions Division, Ricoh Corporation. "Controlling costs is important to all of our customers and Print Director will help users do just that in an easy and efficient manner."

Ricoh will also be releasing an embedded Java version of Print Director, which will be compatible with all Ricoh Multifunction Products (MFP) that support the Ricoh Embedded Software Architecture 1.3 or higher. The embedded solution will allow companies to control photocopying costs from the MFP's display panel and integrate the data seamlessly with print data collected by Print Director.

"We are honored that a respected corporation like Ricoh has chosen to align with Print Audit. Print Director is the most advanced print management software available and it will significantly benefit Ricoh's customers," said John MacInnes, President and CEO of Print Audit. "We have no doubt that this relationship will benefit Ricoh and help both of our companies continue our strong growth into 2007 and beyond."
